What is Ashiatsu massage?
Ashiatsu means “foot pressure” in Japanese. The technique uses the therapist's clean bare feet and body weight to deliver broad, consistent pressure that often feels different from concentrated hand or elbow work. Overhead bars provide balance and precise control, allowing Evita to adjust every stroke to your comfort.
Long, flowing strokes follow classical meridians and are used to work with chronic tension, restricted mobility, and structural patterns. Pressure is never one-size-fits-all: a session can remain restorative and moderate or gradually move into firmer, sustained work when appropriate.
Evita's personalized approach
With 23 years of bodywork experience, Evita now provides deep tissue and structural alignment work in her office primarily through Ashiatsu. A session may also integrate craniosacral, Lomi-Lomi, breathwork, hot towels, and restorative techniques according to your needs. Organic essential oils are included.
Before the session, share any injuries, surgeries, medical conditions, pressure preferences, or areas you want addressed. Your Vagaro booking includes the required waiver and space for notes so the work can be planned with care.
