Do you take walk-ins?

No, we are by appointment only.

Do I need to sign a liability waiver?

Yes, you will be required to sign a waiver before your massage, releasing the therapist and KHM from liability. It’s important to inform your therapist of any contraindications, accidents, injuries, or surgeries you may have. There is also an option to provide notes in Vagaro during the booking process. Do you do gift certificates?

Yes we do. Please make payment out to Kona Hawaii Massage LLC, select your therapist and book directly with them before its expiration date.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the price of your scheduled appointment. If you are unwell or unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can accommodate scheduling changes. Cancellations within 24 hours will result in a $100 fee deducted from your deposit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept both cash and card payments. Please note that card payments and KHM Venmo transactions incur an additional 3% fee. Please bring the exact amount, we don’t carry change. While tips are appreciated, they are not expected.

Are all the therapists at KHM independent contractors?

Kona Hawaii Massage (KHM) is an LLC that collaborates with licensed and insured licensed massage therapists (LMTs) who operate as independent contractors in their own studios. We are committed to supporting local therapists by providing a high percentage of compensation for their services, as we function as a massage referral network. This allows us to foster a strong community of skilled professionals dedicated to quality care.

Do you accept medical insurance?

No, we no longer accept medical insurance; however, we do accept Workers’ Compensation and Auto Accident claims. If your claim is accepted by therapist directly (not through KHM), you will be required to sign that you will be responsible to compensate therapist in case your PIP goes over, any remaining deductible or fees owed.

How do I book insurance appointments with each therapist?

If you are local, please book directly with the therapist rather than through our booking system. Each therapist’s bio will indicate whether they accept insurance. The option in our booking system is only available for booking appointments with Evita using the two specified insurances.

What is your policy on inappropriate behavior?

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any inappropriate behavior. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a session and charge the full price if anyone makes us feel uncomfortable. In such cases, authorities may be contacted to ensure our safety and file a report.
